OSEval-TT Workshop 2014

The Observing System Evaluation Task Team (OSEval-TT) under GODAE OceanView aims to provide ongoing demonstrations of the impacts of observations on global and regional ocean forecast and analysis systems.

The OSEval-TT is planning its second workshop following the 2011 Santa Cruz workshop and this time it will be jointly organised together with CLIVAR/GSOP and the E-AIMS FP-7 European project. The workshop will be hosted at CLS, Toulouse, France.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on ocean system experiments and to review the ongoing activities and results regarding the impact of global and regional ocean observing system for short-range forecasting, seasonal to decadal forecasting and reanalyses obtained since the GOV symposium by GOV and CLIVAR GSOP groups. The workshop is intended to be a mix of oral presentations, open discussion, and poster presentations.
