Workshop report

The Workshop report is now available from this website (25 March 2015).

Purpose:

The main goal of the Observing System Evaluation Task Team (OSEval-TT) under GODAE OceanView, was the provision of ongoing demonstrations of the impacts of observations on global and regional ocean forecast and analysis systems.

The workshop was jointly organised with CLIVAR/GSOP and E-AIMS FP-7 European project.

The purpose of this workshop was to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on ocean system experiments and to review the ongoing activities and results regarding the impact of global and regional ocean observing system for short-range forecasting, seasonal to decadal forecasting and reanalyses obtained since the GOV symposium by GOV and CLIVAR GSOP groups.

The workshop was a mix of oral presentations, open discussion, and poster presentations.
