Special instructions to Session 2 authors (VERY IMPORTANT)

This section gives guidelines on preparing Session 2 presentations (description of the coastal ocean forecasting systems):

  • This is the first time we meet, therefore talks in Session 2 will help the TT to identify and review ongoing (national) coastal ocean forecasting activities
  • We allow approx. 20’ per talk including questions -- 20 minutes is a short time so please be concise!
  • Speakers in this session are asked to represent more than their teams: national/regional activities should be presented so that a maximum number of initiatives worldwide are covered
  • For each system, the following information must be provided during the presentation - it will be used to feed the Systems Information Table: System (name, description) Objectives Calendar Products/Users + Issues Assessment strategies / quality policy +Issues Use of large-scale products + Issues Applications + Issues
