JOINT DA-TT & OSEval-TT Meeting

Initiated and supported by the Data Assimilation Task Team (DA-TT) AND the Observing System Evaluation Task Team (MEAP-TT) of GODAE OceanView

CMRE, La Spezia, Italy

11-13 October 2017

Here is some more useful information about the Joint DA/OSEval-TT meeting in La Spezia!

Hotel bookings – room blocks arranged: Please find an update to the information provided about hotel bookings on the GOV website. We have now secured a number of hotels all located in Lerici. Please make sure that you book rooms in one of these hotels as we will be organising a bus to pick all participants up from the area to bring them all together to the CMRE. This way we will be able to reduce the security check time at entering the CMRE premises.

CMRE visitor applications – security: Your visitor forms are being processed. At present we do not anticipate any difficulties and would suggest to proceed with travel arrangements, nevertheless we cannot know when the formal procedure will be completed and will advise you as soon as possible.

Registration is still open but will close on 15 August 2017. However, this is only open for NATO country citizens. For all non-NATO country citizens it is now too late to go through the CMRE visitor notification and approval process.Registration must include the standard GOV website registration (online form), but also the completion and submission of the CMRE forms + a copy of your passport to the CMRE organisers. See CMRE visitor forms next.
