Call for papers & abstract submission for the MEOPAR/GOV MEAP Workshop

We would like to invite your participation in a 2-day workshop on Marine Ecosystem Analysis and Prediction in Halifax on

23 - 24 June 2015.

The workshop is co-organized by Marion Gehlen, Katja Fennel and Kirsten Wilmer-Becker and co-sponsored by MEOPAR and GODAE OceanView (more details on both initiatives are given below) and it is intended to be a mix of oral presentations, open discussion, and poster presentations.

We invite your contributions to the following four workshop sessions/categories:

Oral or poster presentations are expected to relate to the categories 1-4 below. For each abstract you like to submit, please give at least one category, and whether your presentations preference would be Oral or Poster.

Abstracts can be submitted via the workshop registration pages.

There is no registration fee. The cost of lunches and coffee breaks is covered, as is a workshop dinner on the second night. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses, although limited funding for accommodation in Halifax is available. Please contact the organizers if you would like to request that your accommodation expenses be covered..

  • Representatives from the GOV Science Team, Task Team co-chairs & members and the GOV Patrons' Group
  • Representatives from international research groups representing green operational oceanography
